Some states have been affected more than other states. Omicron variant has disrupted a lot of normal activities: school’s no longer have physical classes and have switched to online classes, health centers like pharmacies have been closed temporarily. Transportation has also been affected this has caused a decline in grocery products rending shelves in stores empty. For the first time in the US blood donations levels are dropping and their hospitals are becoming overwhelmed. US president Joe Biden stated out that businesses and schools should be open despite experts warnings and fear if the variant might be overcome without any Covid-19 measures.

It is reported that close to three hundred and fifty four people in India have lost their life’s due to Covid-19. Cases of Covid-19 have been triggered by the spread of the Omicron variant. Citizens in India are being advised to adhere to Covid-19 measures as a way of fighting against the variant.
Other countries are also battling with the Omicron variant which seems to be taking its routes . It is advisable that we all follow all the Covid-19 measures given to us by health authorities and institutions as a way of fighting the virus.
